What is Face Blurring?

Face Blurring is a feature that allows you to obscure the identities of individuals within videos you’ve uploaded. When you apply Face Blurring within Video Enhancements, you will see a preview of what your video will look like with faces blurred. When you click ‘save as’ a new copy of your video will be created in which the detected faces are permanently blurred. You will have the choice to delete the original video at this time. If you do not choose to delete the original file immediately, you may do so at a later time in Video Manager. While our face blurring feature is not perfect, it is a first step in the effort to allow you to protect your identity and the identities of others. Please make sure you are satisfied with the facial blurring before making the video public.

How do I use Face Blurring?

1.Log in to your YouTube account.

A: Not necessarily. Because it can be difficult to detect faces depending on the angle, lighting, occlusions and video quality, it’s possible that certain faces or frames will not get blurred. If you are not satisfied with the accuracy of the blurring as demonstrated in the preview of your video, you may wish to keep your video private. Also, note that there are other ways to identify people aside from face recognition.

Q: What happens to my original, unblurred video?
A: You will be given the option to delete your original video when you Apply face blurring.

The time since the famous WhatsApp application had been released for iPhone, I have been using it to stay in touch with all my friends and family. 2. Run iTunes and log in to iTunes Store with your Apple ID

3. Now update the WhatsApp to the update available

4. Connect your iPhone and install this latest version of the WhatsApp on it

5. Run WhatsApp on your phone now and configure it back

Well this is what the solution is to this problem, just update to the latest available version and install it back on the iPhone. Apart from the fix, I believe the update also fixed some performance issues as the app is now running faster than before.

So it is sometimes better to update apps and solve any app problem that might occur.

Enable or Disable Hibernation in Windows with Microsoft Fix It

Personally I have liked the hibernation feature of Windows very much as it allows us to save the exact state of our computer and resume from there without consuming any electricity. The biggest difference between sleep and hibernation is that when you make a PC sleep, it consumes some electricity (although very low) whereas this is not the case with hibernation.


 When your computer hibernates, it saves the exact image of the system on to the hard drive and makes use of the system memory for faster login. If you check out the hidden and protected operating system files in your installation drive, you will see a file called Hiberfil.sys. This file is used for saving the system state when your system is hibernated and its size is approximately equal to your installed RAM size.

If hibernation is disabled in your system, this file is not present. You can manually enable or disable the hibernation option in your system by visiting the control panel or follow the below steps:


1. Open cmd, and ensure to run as Admin

2. Type powercfg.exe /hibernate off (to turn Hibernation Off) or powercfg.exe /hibernate on (to turn Hibernation On).

3. You can now exit

If you are not comfortable working on commands, then you can also make use of automatic script from Microsoft that will do this for you. With the help of Microsoft Fix It, you can both enable and disable the hibernation in your system.

Using Linxy is very simple too, all you have to do is install this app from the app store, point your iPhone camera to the word for which you are not sure of and let the app scan it for you. Ensure you fit the word in the scan frame (on the screen) so that the word is detected easily and clearly. You can pinch the frame too so as to fit the word easily. If you wish to zoom the word, you can also do that using the magnifier icon in the app.

Linxy’s scanning is quite decent and you should not face any difficulty in doing this. There is some text abc written to the top right, this displays the scan sharpness. If the text is bright, it means the scan was good whereas if the text is little blurred then you should scan the word again. When the word is recognized, the app displays the meaning right away.

However if you are on the free app then you will see only limited definitions whereas the paid app users will be able to read more about it on Wikipedia along with the pronunciation of the word. Currently the app is only available to iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S users.

WebCamEffects is a free tool that has lots and lots of effects to choose from, from the UI menu. You can select any effect, add it your chat screen and customize the way you look to the other person. Moreover the tool also allows you to record and save the video chat session, and you can also either upload it youtube directly or just save it on your hard disk.

You can customize your chat screen for color, contrast, brightness and other normal features of course but apart from these you can change whole of your look and also the background. With the presets present by default, you can select any preset and change your look completely (as shown in the screenshot).

The application is more of a fun application that can add some cool effects to your chat so that you don’t feel bored again while chatting with some friend of yours. The app is free and is supported on Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8.
